THE PARTNERS

Fuelled by ambition and a desire to establish their own identity and play by their own rules, Architecture Three Sixty was founded by Mark Anthony Muscat and Matthew Camilleri. It was a natural progression after having gained experience in the field working with high profile, local architectural practices.

They were later joined by Katja Abela who added a new dimension to the practice, bringing a wealth of experience as an Interior Architect and having worked on both intimate spatial experiences as well as large scale public auditorium spaces.

Just like their multifaceted projects, the three partners are also a sum of the practice’s parts as they all bring their own identity and desires to the mix, with common threads binding them together. At heart, Architecture Three Sixty aims to solve complex problems and create happiness for people, while taking projects from idea to experience.

By building a team that functions like a family, Architecture Three Sixty has evolved into timesaving, problem solver for clients, to give form to their ideas and desires. They occupy a special place that bridges bespoke design with a complete portfolio of services that can take any project from concept to completion without setting foot outside their own team.

ARCHITECTURE

In planning new homes and/or commercial buildings and the spaces around them, we are here to imagine how to shape any space into a sculpted 3-dimensional architectural experience as well as renovating, restoring, and preserving existing architecture. We build the concept together with our clients and elevate our projects proposals into timeless designs, while looking at the architecture holistically. Elements such as planes, volumes and light shafts are adopted to create spaces to their maximum potential and spatial capability. We make sure to implement the brief into a functional and aesthetic solution respecting all regulations. In our work, we keep close communication with all relevant authorities in order to take any project from paper to reality.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

The starting point of every project is always our client’s lifestyle and/or requirements. Our very client centric approach delivers a tailor-made experience of space while simultaneously ensuring the aesthetics and functionality follow the brief. We feel responsible to enrich spaces by moulding them to the client’s lifestyle, giving the clients something they didn’t know they needed yet. The ultimate goal of all our projects is to give the user timeless yet personal spaces. With this in mind, we always do our best to deliver projects with a sense of responsibility for future generations. It is all about innovative ideas in the form of custom designs and good detailing, textures, colours, and shapes.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Bringing any architectural vision to reality. We have the capability of offering our services for a variety of structures – be it simple load bearing structures, complex frame buildings, in steel or in concrete. Our team is experienced in structures of all scales from new build and alterations to existing houses up to infrastructural works and temporary structures for the film industry. We feel that it’s important to involve the structural engineers’ department at concept stage so that we may from the onset of a project start discussions on effective designs and solve structural details immediately. We are happy to test the limits and move outside of the box.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We oversee and coordinate all aspects of a construction project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Our main responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations, amongst other requirements. We act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, project architects, and other stakeholders, managing resources and resolving issues to ensure smooth project execution. Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential in this role irrespective of the scale and complexity of the project our company might be handling.

FILM CONSULTANCY

Our company bridges the gap between filmmaking and the related architectural services, mainly advising on local legislation, planning permissions, seeking approvals/clearances from all affected statutory authorities, structural consultancy, construction procurement, surveying. We collaborate with directors, production designers, and cinematographers to ensure the built environment enhances the story’s narrative and visual appeal, whilst ensuring that all works respect the approved work methodologies, the immediate surroundings, historical fabric and all other important factors which makes this work so challenging as much as it is exciting.
