Casa Bormlisa

Derelict townhouse was renovated to host families visiting Malta. The design introduces semi-outdoor spaces in the gap between the old and the suspended new extension accessible with a bridge. Small openings and geometric shapes add visual interest enhancing the courtyard’s cubic volume, while the contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic features whitewashed walls, terrazzo tiles, and exposed beams.
